This year, courtesy of Poetry Column NND, 3 Nigerian writers will each stand a chance to win ₦15,000 Cash and a ₦10,000 gift card to shop at Roving Heights for the Annual Sprinng Poetry Contest. The contest prompt is simple! Write a simple poem on any theme of your choice between 8-10 lines.
Timeline: The contest opens on March 1 and ends on June 30. The long list will be announced on August 1, and the winner will be announced on August 15.
Eligibility: Only Nigerian writers living in Nigeria are eligible for this contest. Only one submission per person is allowed.
Contest Prompt: Write a simple poem on any theme of your choice between 8-10 lines. The line count doesn’t include the poem’s title.
