APVA Awards 2024: Celebrating the Kings of the Game

The APVA Awards, celebrating the King of the Game, is proud to announce its esteemed panel of judges for the 2024 awards ceremony. This diverse group of industry experts and thought leaders will carefully review and select the winners in various categories.

This year, we’re rallying under the banner “King of The Game,” a theme that celebrates the spirit that drives African audio creatives. It’s an homage to the journey towards excellence and innovation, recognizing the hard work, late nights, endless edits, and courage to tell stories that matter.

Under this theme, we aim to spotlight the trailblazers who’ve led the way, the innovators who are redefining what’s possible, and the emerging talents that are the future of our industry.

Meet the Judges

In making this a reality, we have brought an esteemed panel of judges to help in celebrating the Kings Of The Game! We are pleased to release the full list of this year’s APVA Awards Judges below:

  2. Wangui Kimani – Award-winning poet and award-winning co-director
