Everyone is filled with excitement and anticipation as APVA announces the nominees for ‘The African Podcast and Voice (APVA) Awards (Voiceover categories).
The African Podcast and Voice Awards (APVA) has unveiled the highly anticipated nominees for its esteemed podcast categories. Recognizing and honoring the exceptional content creators, hosts, and industry professionals who have made remarkable contributions to African podcasting and voice-over industries, APVA celebrates the rich and diverse landscape of the continent’s audio storytelling.
These exceptional nominees represent the pinnacle of African podcasting, exemplifying talent, creativity, and innovation across various genres and subjects and a true representation of “voices of the future.”
APVA was founded on 30 September 2021, to provide support for the ever-growing community of African voice talent including podcasters, voice-over artists, spoken word artists, and poets.
On the 5th of May 2024, APVA called for nominations for their 2024 awards. And on the 10th of July, the list of nominees for this year’s awards for podcast categories was released. Voting officially opened on the 16th of July and will close on the 10th of August 2024.
